White Fiberboard Shelf System – Arie

Arie is 25 mm thick shelf system made of white powder-coated
medium-density fiberboard (or solid oak) which comes in two
different heights. Thanks to the concept of the rack the system
provides unlimited amount of combination possibilities when you
put racks together. It also could provide unlimited amount of storage
space if you combine more than one rack.






The system even could become a corner shelf without any visible
touching points. The system is free-standing so it could be put
anywhere even as room divider. There is also a combination
which could be used as sideboard. Besides being practical the system
also has minimalist look and could be used in any contemporary living space.
Arie is designed by Arik Levy and won several awards on IMM Cologne 2009 exhibition.



Night Lamp, Bookshelf and Bookmark in One

Studio Smeets Design in Amsterdam designed a product which could
solve all that troubles. It’s called Lili Lite. With usual manual switch
for turning on-off the lamp Lili Lite has more smart system.

If you want to turn off the light, you’ll have to put an open book on
the shelf as pictures, and a sensor will turn off the light for you.
When the book is picked up again, the light automatically turns on.

Minimalist Steel Books Organizer – Lako

This minimalist bookshelf is a perfect solution to organize books
near a bed or on a small table. It’s called Lako and designed
by Marko Macura. The bookshelf has shape that allows to organize
books and magazines in several ways.



The top of the shelf could be used to transport it without any troubles.
The shelf is made of steel painted in black and white colors. Even with

Minimalist Steel Bookshelf – DUO Bookshelf

The DUO Bookshelf is one of the latest furniture pieces designed
by Brooklyn-based designer, Ana Linares. It presents itself as two
combined minimalist wall shelves made of powder-coated steel.


The design is great example of how to get a maximum functionality
without a lot of material.


The bookshelf consists of a few bends that hold books and give it
an illusion of lightness. It is available in black, silver and bright blue.
