Our first runway model is  is wearing  a beautiful above the knees fashionable dress with beautiful ruffled soft pink and brown lace sleeves. Doesn't she look hip, comfortable and somewhat romantic? She looks amazing. Now check out the beautiful decorated soft pink and brown romantic living room does this not mimics the model on the right? Check out the lacey  brown window-covering and the soft pink on the walls. Wow!!! What a show..

Our next  model is wearing Emilio Pucci Collections. Doesn't she look hip and comfortable in her all pretty in pink pants? Now we cant forget the lovely purse wrapped around her waste right!!! She looks great. Now check out the room match isn't it just beautiful I love how the bed mimics the purse and the rug on the floor its a room in a outfit.

Here we have our next model who is also sporting Emilio Pucci Collections. What a great outfit and the hipster dress with the gourgious ruffles with her all so lovely sandals: I don't think you can ever be out of style in a pair of those. What a beautiful dress its so romantic and elegant. Now lets Check out our room decor!! Even though the models dress doesn't have much visible pink in it,the ruffles On the dress looks a lot like the headboard, and did you notice the texture of the dress that mimics the texture on the walls? Friday's Runway Decorate Week 7

Check out this weeks Runway Decorate

Now check out this!!! Is this not a mess of elegance? if you can see it that way... The runway model is wearing an amazing orange and blue jacket withe the gorgeous beaded high-heel  shoe is an amazing  runway design. Have you notice there is a guy sitting on the sofa that's drape with what looks like a blue velvet fabric!!! well I love the elegant mess of a room... OK this is an interesting one I have to admit but I thought it looks pretty good.
What I love about this runway decorate match is the model and the room matches so well in style and in color. I love how the runway model shirt hangs as if she's a bit casual but yet she has some formality to her overall style and this is what you also see in the interior room also the rug is not so serious but so elegant at the same time... WOW love it!!!
Now for those formal events we have this beautiful ball gown worn by this beautiful runway model she is sure to have a ball in this one notice this elegant green turquoise top that is almost not a whole garment but nonetheless so sexy- Now check out the beautiful formal living room with it’s beautiful blue and green charm throughout. This room doesn’t disappoint it only shows us how to be a showstopper!!! WOW can I get dressed-up and come to the party!!!

Style Mood is Monochromatic

Monochromatic color schemes are based off of a single color. In my opinion a monochromatic color scheme- looks most interesting when different materials are used. Pairing monochromatic with different patterns and textures but all with the same underlined color with a subdued, sophisticated, and harmonious look brings monochromatic alive.

Sit back and enjoy the different flavors of Monochromatic.
Utilize a monochromatic color scheme in your bedroom too!! By featuring various patterns and textures. This guest room is mostly the one color of tan but with the pops of white it gives it the monochromatic flavor it needs. With the walls being tan and the headboard tan you would think it will be too much blending but that's not the case here because of the suede texture of the headboard. This monochromatic color is very fitting for a guest room

I love this purple living room, it’s so elegant, dramatic, chic and glamorous. A monochromatic color scheme is one in which a palette is used in varying shades of the same color. You can see all the shades of purple in this glam room just~ love, love, love it. To explain the silver it reflects the color pallet in the room which is the one color purple and that's what makes it monochromatic.

WOW!!! Look at the textures in this room !!! Monochromatic never looked so good
I love this room with the pop of yellow and the layered picture frames on the wall, I love it!!!
Now check this out, this room is so calm and relaxing looking I can see myself felling comfortable in this bedroom.
Lovely
What a nice little calming space to do your makeup.
Monochromatic Catwalk ~ walking the catwalk in mono tones never looked so good. When done well, fashion and interiors can have a unique richness about them even if there’s only one color~ the fashions up above are all done well with all the same colors but different shades and textures and not at all boring

How about weddings?~Check out this lovely wedding story board done by a designer who had a vision of ethereal little angels flitting among snowy white clouds which called for celebration that calls for a palette that’s as pure as the driven snow. This designer stuck with white, cream, and a few organic touches of green. Source stylenotes

Random Inspiration of Monochromatic

Beautiful Monochromatic bathroom
What an amazing demonstration of monochromatic art
I would love to have this on one of my walls ~flawless flow of monochromatic art

  • What do you think!!! Do monochromatic or one color design has to be boring?
  • Is there one color that you love so much that you can see in your home all throughout one room?

OK if this runway model don't look like she just walked right out of this room I don't know what or who does!!  WOW
This room actually looks like the runway model beyond the colors just looking at the length of the chandelier and how tall the runway-model stands and not to mention how the runway model is wearing that hat that mirrors the canopy over the bed
Taking you back -Waaaay back!!! Well! There were models back in the day you know!!! So let’s take a look at this room that looks a lot like the models in the photo beside it. The guy model with his yellow pants "well I don’t know about that but I guess those were the days". Look how the yellow pants mirrors the chairs and the pillows in the interior room and check out the beautiful tufted pink chairs that resembles the model that’s laying on the ground shirt Wow even back then interior designers were inspired by runway

What a bold color the runway model is wearing that loud yellow color with a hint of gold shining through in the belt. when you look at the rooms interiors you can see the coffee table is making a statement with the hint of the rusted gold shining through in the wheels. Friday's Runway Decorate Week 4

This Friday’s Runway Decorate is a little different!! Different how you may ask!!! well I can't quite tell you what the interior designers were thinking when they designed these lovely rooms because none of them were modeled by the runway models but I can tell you what I was thinking when I matched the model to the rooms. So all I can say is that I hope I've done you proud- See how Key Interiors by Shinay matches the rooms up to the runway models….

This runway model is beautiful and elegant but yet you can see the wild side in her. Just look at her hair its wild but yet fitting and beautiful with the dress oh and the belt is bringing it home. I matched this room up to this model well because quite frankly I think they’re a good match. The room has such elegance to it but at the same time the wild side shines through. I don't know what the Interior designer of this room was thinking when he or she designed it but I feel if the designer saw this modeland was modeling their room to this modelthe room will look the all same. Interior designed room by Mary mcdonald

Now!! This runway model was my favorite because finding this room match was almost impossible I had to look hard to find this match but as soon as I've seen this runway model I knew I wanted to find her matching room and I almost was going to be the interior designerwho matched it because I just couldn’t find a edgy sharp and coolinterior that matched this runway modelbut as you can see I found the match. This room is edgy, cool and wild just like the runway model but yet the sweetness is shining through.  When I saw this room I said!!! “I had a match” Because the colors are spot on but more then that the sharp edges in the mirror that matches the jacket and the animal print rug shows off the wild side of the model. As you can see I love this Friday’srunway decorate match.
I love, love, love this runway interior design match check out that beautiful skirt that the runway model is wearing!!! I think her skirt mimics the curtains to a tee from the material of the skirt and the material of the window coverings, by golly I think we have a match... Look at the cream color chandelier matches the cream jacket with the peachy orange belt this Runway Decorate is spot on.

So Runway Decorate week 4 was fun!!! What do you think!!! Did I matched the rooms up to the runway models spot-on or am I barking down the wrong tree?
